  1. tie the knot

weddings is such great idea! it’s not just and event but an experience. last week, because of my thorough research, i saw this ad about weddings.

Even though i am not getting married up until the next 5 years (well, my groom isn’t yet awaken from his deep deep sleep. hahaha! or should i say, he has lost his nap unti his way to my heart. hahaha!)

kidding aside, i pre registered online. i was supposed to go with ate irene, who is also a member of “the single ladies’ club”. but unfortunately, she had a major magraine so i came all alone to the exhibit.

At first, i was awkward because all the guests that come in and go are couples. while, me, wandering around the exhibit hall, alone, and yeah, getting those stuffs and signing those nuptial registry and everyone’s asking me, “so when is your wedding date?”

there were several “reasons” that i answered:

    a) for business purposes

    b) oh, i juat dropped by and see what’s in store with this expo

    c) my friend is getting married on december and i’m thinking of giving her an on-site photo booth service as a wedding gift is a great idea

    d) i’ll just smile and get the hell out in front whoever he/she is.

Then, i thought of calling earl… i dont have any idea that earl doesnt want to attend the expo. and by joanna’s (his gf) demand, they came. well, it’s pretty sure that guys doesn’t want the idea of “tie-ng the knot” why? issue of emotional dependency? commitments? freedom?

Look, i have a friend who was supposed to get married 2 years ago. but then, the groom (who is also our tropa) backed out. WITHOUT ANY CONCRETE REASON. just BROKE UP with her and poof! whala! gone, gone, gone… poor Ruvie, she shed tears almost like a vast ocean! now, FINALLY, she has found the right ONE and finally, she’ll tie the knot! i’m so happy for her! me? i don’t know when will i tie the knot. but i know one for sure, if HE is the one, HE is the one. Cliché as it may seem, but TRUE LOVE WAITS! Ü
